Your Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer and you agree to our services away from our premises, for example at your home, over the phone, by text or through this website, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days.

Your 14-day cooling-off period

You may cancel the contract for services without giving a reason within 14 days of the day the contract was made. For goods we supply separately (for example a boiler you buy from us before installation) the period runs from the day you receive them.

Work you ask us to start early

If you ask us to start within the 14 days, for example because it is urgent, we will ask you to confirm this request (verbally for emergencies, then in writing). If you later cancel, you must pay a proportionate amount for the work done up to the point you told us. If the work is completed within the 14 days at your request, you lose the right to cancel.

Emergency repairs

Where you ask us to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance, the right to cancel does not apply to that urgent work. It does still apply to any additional services or goods we offer that go beyond the emergency, unless you agree otherwise.

How to cancel

Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, by email to hello@example.com, by post to 12 Example Street, Leeds, LS1 1AA, or by phone on 0113 000 0000. You may use the model form below but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough to send your cancellation before the 14 days end.

Refunds

We refund any payments received from you, less a proportionate charge for work already done at your request, within 14 days of your cancellation, using the same payment method.
